International Friends of Aruba does Spa Night "Intermezzo" Style

The Intermezzo Spa located in the Aruba Westin Hotel was the place to be on a recent Tuesday evening. Chris Smith, the spa manager, in cooperation with IFA member Mayra Lageveen, arranged a much needed, terribly over-due "ladies only" pampering for the International Friends of Aruba. The hard working women of IFA were treated to candlelight, incense and the charm of Intermezzo's highly qualified therapists. Choices of pedicures, facials and massages, guaranteed relaxation for the lucky guests and were certain to spur envy in all the gentlemen, who want a Spa evening of their own.

The ladies brought along an assortment of hors d'oeuvres and beverages to help ease away tensions before, during and after their personalized treatments. Snuggled up in robes, sipping wine and luxuriating in massage oils, the group had a chance to catch up with one another and prepare for the next big event.

President Meredith Lauria encouraged all to attend, and bring along as many friends as they wish, to the 2nd Annual IFA "Meet the Members" Event, Saturday, February 23, 2008. This evening affair is the perfect time for all old, new and prospective members to socialize and see first hand what the organization may offer themselves or their families.
